Sister Cities, Teddy Bears, Cancelled Meeting

Here's what you need to know today about what's happening in Niles and Morton Grove:

• Do you love travel or have a connection to a foreign country? Get involved in the Niles Sister Cities committee. They're meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Niles Library. Call  847/470-1900 for more info. Niles' current Sister Cities are Pisa, Italy; Leixlip, Ireland; Nafplion, Greece and Limanowa, Poland. It may add more.
• You're having a great summer, but what about your teddy bear (or other favorite plush toy)? Doesn't he or she deserve some fun too?  Come for storytime at the Niles Library at 6:30, and tuck in your bear for a sleepover. Then pick him or her up Tuesday and hear about the fun time!
• No Morton Grove village board meeting today. The board met three times last week re: the assault weapons ban, and today's meeting is cancelled.
