Two Drivers In Hit & Run Crashes Did Not Have Driver's Licenses

Hit and Run/No Valid Driver’s License

Greenwood/Shermer

Jesus Bahena Guadarrama, 29, of Chicago was involved in a crash and left the scene, police said, but was later apprehended and charged. According to the report, he did not have a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 01/13/14.

Intimidation/Parole Violation

7300 Davis

Joseph Jando, 27, of Morton Grove,found a stray dog and threatened to have the dog killed if the owner did not pay him $1,200.00, according to the report. After being charged, a parole violation warrant was issued. Court date was scheduled for 12/23/13.

Theft and No Valid Driver’s License

6100 Crain

Diego Salina, 43, of Chicago, and Gregorio Ruiz, 54, of Chicago, stole a Weber Smoker Grill from an alley behind a residence, according to the report, and were later apprehended by police on a traffic stop.  The driver, Ruiz, was also charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 02/07/14.

Possession of Cannabis

6000 Dempster

Joseph T. Peake, 20, of Niles was stopped for traffic violations, police said, when the officer noticed a strong odor of cannabis emanating from his vehicle.  A search of the vehicle yielded approximately 2 grams of suspected Cannabis, according to the report. Court date is scheduled for 01/13/14.

Hit and Run/Revoked Driver’s License

7300 Dempster

John Chisom, 58 of Evanton, was involved in a crash and left the scene, but was later apprehended and charged. It was also discovered he had a revoked driver’s license. Court date is scheduled for 12/31/13.

Elizabeth Breede, 37, of Chicago, took property from Menards without paying. Court date is scheduled for 01/16/14
