19 Year Old Arrested for DUI on Shermer

The following is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Nicholas V. Annerino, 19, of the 2100 block of Washington in Northbrook, was stopped for traffic violations in the 1500 block of Shermer Road just past midnight Aug. 10. Officers determined that he was under the influence. He was placed under arrest for DUI, improper lane usage and violating the median, released on $1,000 bond and given an Aug. 29 court date.

Warrant arrest

Tahir Jiwan, 33, of the 3500 block of Sorrel Drive in Northbrok, was stopped for a traffic violation at Dundee and Western at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 10. The officer learned that the defendant had an active warrant from the DuPage County Sheriff. He was taken into custody, released on $3,000 bond and given a Sept. 15 court date.

Picnic table damaged

A park district employee reported that someone damaged a picnic table in the 2400 block of Greenview by removing the tie down bolts that secure the table down to a cement pad, allowing the table to be moved from its permanent location. The estimated cost to repair is $50.

Fraud

A resident reported that after filling out a survey, she was contacted to be a secret shopper. She was sent checks to deposit and was told to use the funds to purchase money cards, after forwarding the information to the sender of the checks. She was later told by her bank that the checks were not good.

Driving with a suspended license

Mark A. Senser, 47, of the 6900 block of North Wayne in Chicago, was stopped at 2:30 p.m. at Anthony and Dundee by officers for a traffic violation. Police learned that his driver’s license was suspended. He was placed under arrest, released on $1,500 bond and given a Sept. 24 court date.

Jewelry stolen

Someone removed a box of jewelry from a bedroom closet in the 1400 block of Sunset Ridge The theft occurred sometime during the past month.

Driving with a suspended license

Jesus Trejo, 43, of the 2700 block of Kilpatrick in Chicago, was stopped for a traffic violation at Dundee and Hawthorne. Officers learned that his driver’s license was suspended. He was placed under arrest, released on $3,000 bond and given a Sept. 8 court date.
