4th Annual Northbrook Grand Prix (Chicago Grit Pro/Am Bike Races) Return to Downtown Northbrook
Tight corners, insane speeds, and a big party atmosphere is what the Chicago Grit ten-day crit racing series is all about!
Get ready for a thrilling day of amateur and professional criterium bike races on the streets of Downtown Northbrook as the 4th Annual Northbrook Grand Prix returns on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
For one exciting day, the streets around Village Green Park will be closed to create a fast-paced 1.1km (.75 mile) race course. Picnic anywhere along the route, in the Village Green, or in the shaded neighborhood streets.
The day kicks off at 11:10AM with the Men's Novice race, and culminates at dusk with the Women's Pro (5:00PM) and Men's Pro (6:45PM) races presented by George Garner Cyclery.

Ride the course yourself (kids included) during the Community Ride taking place between the women’s and men’s pro races from 6:15 to 6:45PM. Or visit any of Downtown Northbrook's establishments, which are open all day (and into the night)!
