Barnes & Noble Opening Store In Northbrook: Report

NORTHBROOK, IL — Barnes & Noble is making a comeback, at least in Chicagoland. Four new locations of the national retail bookstore chain, including one in Northbrook, are slated to open this summer.

Crain's Chicago Business reported Wednesday that the Northbrook store will be located at the Village Square of Northbrook shopping center, 45 Skokie Blvd. A Deerfield location closed its doors at the end of 2022.

The other Barnes & Noble locations in Chicagoland will be at the former Walgreens flagship building at 1601 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, 651 W. Diversey Parkway in Lincoln Park and in Oswego, according to Crain's.
