Car Fire Closes Willow Festival Shopping Plaza For Several Hours: Northbrook PD

NORTHBROOK, IL — A car fire shut down the Willow Festival shopping plaza at Willow and Waukegan roads for several hours Thursday afternoon. Northbrook police sent out an emergency alert at around 2 p.m., asking residents to avoid the area.

"The fire investigation at Willowfest shopping plaza has been completed and the area is now fully accessible," Northbrook police said in a social media post at 4:40 p.m. "Thank you for your patience and cooperation."
