Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Communication:
- Assist chiropractors with therapeutic activities and interventions, following specific guidelines.
- Apply mechanical traction to patients, demonstrating the ability to lift weights (up to 30 pounds) multiple times a day.
- Guide patients through therapies and tractions as directed.
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress using electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients about their care, teaching exercises recommended by the doctor, and providing necessary support.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to maintain a positive and supportive therapy environment.
- Use texting systems, email, and other electronic tools to keep the team informed about patient visits and care details.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with the community to promote our therapy services and foster positive relationships.
- Represent our practice professionally during community interactions.
Listening and Direction:
- Follow directions meticulously to ensure accurate implementation of therapeutic protocols.
- Demonstrate strong listening skills to address patient needs and concerns.
- Continuously seek education opportunities to stay updated.
Qualifications:
- 1 year previous experience in a therapy assistant role or a related field.
- Bachelors in Phisio-therapy or Physical Therapy
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, texting systems, and email.
- Ability to lift weights up to 30 pounds multiple times a day.
- Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
