Key Responsibilities:

Client Support and Communication:

  • Assist chiropractors with therapeutic activities and interventions, following specific guidelines.
  • Apply mechanical traction to patients, demonstrating the ability to lift weights (up to 30 pounds) multiple times a day.
  • Guide patients through therapies and tractions as directed.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress using electronic medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about their care, teaching exercises recommended by the doctor, and providing necessary support.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members to maintain a positive and supportive therapy environment.
  • Use texting systems, email, and other electronic tools to keep the team informed about patient visits and care details.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the community to promote our therapy services and foster positive relationships.
  • Represent our practice professionally during community interactions.

Listening and Direction:

  • Follow directions meticulously to ensure accurate implementation of therapeutic protocols.
  • Demonstrate strong listening skills to address patient needs and concerns.
  • Continuously seek education opportunities to stay updated.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year previous experience in a therapy assistant role or a related field.
  • Bachelors in Phisio-therapy or Physical Therapy 
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, texting systems, and email.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 30 pounds multiple times a day.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
