Coyote Pups Rescued From Concrete Culvert: Northbrook PD
The pups were suffering from mange when they were rescued in a collaborative effort last week.
NORTHBROOK, IL — Two coyote pups, who were suffering from mange, have been rescued after being found sheltering in a concrete culvert. According to the Northbrook Police Department, the combined efforts of Animal Control Officer Manski, Northbrook Public Works and the Northbrook Fire Department led to the rescue.
"We're happy to report that both pups are settling in well," Northbrook police said in a social media post. "They've been eating and are now starting treatment under the care of a licensed rehabilitator."
