Driver Throws Bottle At Other Car In Road Rage Incident: Northbrook Police Blotter
The Skokie resident had originally fled the scene, but police were able to track him down.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Dante Leon-Gonzalez, of Highwood, is accused of having a suspended registration, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Oct. 11, at Shermer Road and Church Street. A court date of Nov. 24 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Sabroya J. Stovall, of Chicago, is accused of disobeying a red light, driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Oct. 11, at Dundee and Waukegan roads. A court date of Nov. 5 was assigned.
- Thomas C. Magarian, of Chicago, is accused of speeding (65 mph in a 40 mph zone), DUI, and was arrested at 10:23 p.m. Oct. 12, at Willow Road and Princeton Lane. A court date of Nov. 5 was assigned.

Alex D. Nieves Correa, of Skokie, is accused of criminal damage to vehicle (road rage), and was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Oct. 15, at Sanders and Dundee roads. Police said Nieves Correa had swerved his 2023 white Volkswagen in front of the victim’s vehicle and stopped. He exited his vehicle and threw a bottle at the victim’s vehicle, causing damage to her window. Nieves Correa had initially fled the scene, but the officers located him and his vehicle a short time later. Police said he admitted to his unlawful actions. A court date of Nov. 17 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The staff at the Northbrook Park District reported at 9:09 a.m. Oct. 11, someone had driven a motorized bicycle across the greens of a golf course in the 1300 block of Willow Road. The tires of the bicycle tore up the ground, causing approximately $1,000 in damage.
ONLINE SCAM
An Arbor Lane resident reported a 4:18 p.m. Oct. 13, she had attempted to purchase college football tickets from two online sources that were selling them. She sent $400 to one and $240 to another via the Zelle app. Neither sent any tickets and refused to correspond with the complainant.
BANK FRAUD
An Oak Knoll Terrace resident reported at 4:11 p.m. Oct. 14, that she had attempted to withdraw money from her bank’s ATM, but the account advised her she was overdrawn. She spoke to the staff, and they found seven unauthorized debits from the account totaling $4,000. She is working with the bank to reimburse the stolen money and get a new account.
