Husband of 70 Years Died Friday

Herbert Krantz, M.D., of Northbrook, died on Friday, June 21. He was 94. His funeral will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Temple Beth-EL, 3610 Dundee Rd. in Northbrook.

The beloved husband for 70 years of the late Rochelle Krantz, loving father of Leslie (Matthew) Spagat, Scott (Jerri) Krantz, and the late Bruce Krantz.

Very proud grandfather of Brian (Cindy) Spagat, Amy (Sammy) Averbuch, and Jonathon Spagat (fiancé Savannah Glazer), Seth (Stephanie) Krantz, Zachary Krantz (fiance Natalie Bowman), and Landon Krantz. Cherished great-grandfather of Ayelet, Yehudah, Shira, Meier, Eliyahu, Yedidia, Aiden, Isaac, Judah, and Samuel.

Dear brother of the late Milton (the late Helen) Krantz and Charlotte Brestler-Poll. Fond uncle and cousin of many. He will be dearly missed by his caregiver Dory Empalmado.

Interment private.
