Kooky Spooky Skate Returning To Frighten Northbrook

The Northbrook Park District invites everyone to wear their spookiest costumes at the family-friendly event.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The annual Kooky Spooky Skate brings Halloween ice skating fun to the Northbrook Sports Center. The all-ages experience is planned for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 17. Attendees are invited to wear their scariest costumes to the family-friendly affair.

According to the Northbrook Park District, the ice rink will be gleaming with colorful lights as skaters glide to DJ tunes in the background.

"I am looking forward to seeing the fun and unique costumes on display this year," Bridgette Sterba, recreation supervisor, said.
