Nighttime Roadwork, Ramp Closures On Edens To Impact Northbrook: Village
Drivers should expect single-lane closures, as well as intermittent partial and full ramp closures.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Local drivers should allow for some extra travel time, even if they're traveling at night over the next few weeks. According to the Village of Northbrook, nighttime roadwork on the Edens Expressway (I-94) and U.S. 41 begins Monday and will continue through the end of next week.
The work, being conducted by the Illinois Department of Transportation, will result in single-lane closures as well as intermittent partial and full ramp closures. The project will affect U.S. 41 from Park Avenue to Lake Cook Road, and the Edens Expressway from Lake Cook Road south to the I-90 Kennedy Junction.

Southbound exit ramp from the Edens/I-94 to Lake-Cook Road

Southbound exit ramps to:
- Tower Road
- Skokie Boulevard
Southbound entrance ramps:
- Willow Road - Eastbound and Westbound
Village officials said IDOT is advising that additional closures along these routes may occur, but have not yet been detailed. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, follow posted detours, and stay alert for workers and equipment in construction zones.
