Northbrook C.D. Peacock Seems Unaffected By Oakbrook Robbery Attempt

The C.D. Peacock jewelry store in Northbrook Court seemed unaffected by an attempted robbery at a C.D. Peacock in Oakbrook.
Store staff declined to comment on the matter and a representative from C.D. Peacock's headquarters could not be reached, but the store appeared to have it's usual, single security guard on Monday afternoon. 
In Oakbrook on Sunday afternoon, a security guard shot a robbery suspect at the Oakbrook Center mall after the suspect used a hammer to break a glass case inside the store, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The wounded man was transported to a hospital, but two others fled the scene in a stolen black Jeep Liberty belonging to a mall employee, according CLTV.
