Northbrook Filmmakers Document 'Food Patriots'
The feature-length documentary sheds light on Americas food industry and the pioneers who support healthy food production.

Northbrook's Jeff and Amdur Spitz are making a documentary film about American food innovators and the country's food production methods called Food Patriots, as part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness about antibiotics in food, the Chicago Tribune reports.
"I just don't get it," Amdur told the Chicago Tribune. "I can't understand why more people aren't freaked out that we are on the precipice of a postantibiotic era."
The feature-length documentary, Food Patriots, aims to educate consumers about the way Americans support the food industry and how they can change the way food is treated before it reaches the shelf.
The film will be screened at the Northbrook Public Library on June 18 at 7:00 p.m.
