NORTHBROOK, IL — What a year a difference makes for Northbrook's Nick Hardy. Just one year after getting injured at the same event, the 2014 Glenbrook North graduate captured the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, his first win on the PGA Tour.

Hardy paired with Davis Riley for victory in the lone two-man team event on the schedule, according to the PGA. Hardy and Riley shot a final-round 65 on Sunday to overcome a three-shot deficit with a tournament-record total of 30-under 258. The win at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana was also the first for Riley on the PGA Tour, a feat that had never occurred prior to Sunday.

At last year's event, Hardy injured his left wrist on the fourth hole and missed six weeks of action.

"I was actually in the hospital probably at this point last year. So it's a lot better place to be at here," Hardy told PGATour.com. "I just look back to last year now, and we've kind of come pretty far."
