Off-Duty Cop Spots Erratic Driver Who is Arrested for DUI

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

An off-duty officer saw Kelli S. Bell, 50, of Northbrook, driving erratically on Walters Ave at noon on May 9. She was stopped and officers determined she was under the influence. She was released on $3,000 bond with a May 22 court date.                                             

Hugo Estela, 25, of Northbrook, was stopped for a traffic violation at Dundee and Shermer roads at 1 a.m. May 10. Officers determined that he was under the influence. He was placed under arrest for DUI and released on $1,000 bond.    

Patricia M. Steffan was stopped for a traffic violation at 7:20 a.m. May 15 at Shermer and Valencia. Officers determined that she was under the influence. She was placed under arrest, and was released on $1,000 bond with a June 14 court date.
