Railroad Crossings Blocked By Stopped Trains In Northbrook: Police
Police are asking motorists to find alternate routes Saturday, with no estimated time for the tracks to be cleared.
NORTHBROOK, IL — Two stopped trains are blocking several railroad crossings Saturday on Dundee Road. The railroad crossing on Dundee Road at Ballantrae Drive, as well as the crossing at Dundee and Fair, are blocked as of 11:50 a.m.
According to a traffic alert sent out by Northbrook police, traffic eastbound and westbound on Dundee Road from Western to Avenue to Skokie Boulevard will be stopped until the train clears the crossings.
