The Northbrook Park District and Congregation Beth Shalom are partnering up for the second annual event.

The Northbrook Park District and Congregation Beth Shalom are partnering up for the second annual "Shine: A Chanukah Celebration" on Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave.
The event, welcome to all whether they celebrate the Jewish holiday or not, runs from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Families are welcome to drop in for part of the event, or stay for the entire time, according to Northbrook Park District officials. Children must be accompanied by an adult; registration is $9 per person for residents, $15 per person for nonresidents and free for children ages 2 and under. According to organizers, families can enjoy songs, games, cookie decorating and more, and children can make their own dreidel.
