Waukegan Road Reopens After Traffic Accident: Northbrook PD
Police were asking motorists to find alternate routes and avoid the area following the Thursday afternoon accident.
NORTHBROOK, IL — A traffic accident closed a portion of Waukegan Road for almost an hour Thursday afternoon. According to police, the road was closed between Shermer Road and Thornwood Lane.
In a 2:41 p.m. social media post, police asked motorists to avoid the area and find an alternate route. Police said the road had reopened at around 3:30 p.m.
