Friday
Summer Italian Wine Dinner at Pinstripes at 7:00 p.m.
Whole Foods Market Northbrook continues its weekly, Fridays @ Five food and wine event.
Lubavitch Chabad of Northbrook will be hosting a community Shabbat
dinner at 6:00 p.m. with guest speaker David Nessenoff.
Temple Beth-El Shabbat Under the Stars at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday
Village paper shredding and recycling event at Village Hall on from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Visitors can bring up to three containers of paper to be shredded on-site.
What's on the Menu? Folks from the Cook County Forest Preserve host this program at 3:00 p.m. at the River Trail Nature Center, 3120 Milwaukee Ave., to study the eating habits of wildlife in the nature center.
Sunday
Spoonful of Honey: Rosh Hashanah Gourmet Honey Tasting at Whole Foods at 11:00 a.m.
The Northbrook Sports Center Pool will host a Super Soak Sunday for wet fun and games from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Present a pool pass or purchase twilight admission.
