Water Main Break Slowing Traffic In Northbrook: Village

NORTHBROOK, IL — Crews are working to repair a water main break that occurred Tuesday morning in the 900 block of Waukegan Road. According to the Village of Northbrook, the work being done between Thornwood Lane and Kiest Avenue, which began at around 9 a.m., will not interrupt water service distribution to residents or businesses.

To facilitate the repairs, northbound traffic on Waukegan Road is being restricted to one lane, and Village staff will employ a series of barricades and cones to flow traffic into the singular lane from Kiest Avenue to Thornwood Lane. Drivers may experience delays in the area.
