ABC's 'Doubt' Crew Films on Roscoe Street
A film crew for an ABC pilot took over a section of Roscoe Street Thursday for filming.
ABC's new drama pilot "Doubt" is filming in Roscoe Village, and on Thursday, crews braved the rain to take over a section of Roscoe Street.
On Tuesday, 32nd Ward Ald. Scott Waguespack announced street closures affecting areas on Roscoe Street, Hamilton Avenue and Leavitt Street.
The scene Thursday involved several extras; one who was standing by pushing a baby doll in a stroller. Onlookers lined the sidewalk outside popular bar and restaurant, John's Place.

And keep your eyes peeled, because the TV show touts some pretty familiar faces in the entertainment industry. The show’s producer, David Shore, is the man behind House M.D. on Fox and NBC’s Law & Order. Doubt is also rumored to star Heros’ Greg Grunberg and Carla Gugino from Watchmen and Sin City.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, The Wrap writes that “Doubt” is based on “a former cop who's now a cunning, but charming low-rent lawyer uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife.”
