Attention Plant Lovers: Free Gardening Workshops Start Tuesday
Ald. Ameya Pawar's office is hosting the workshops that feature different themes from local experts.

Residents looking to make their thumbs a little greener can attend on of three gardening workshops, free of charge.
The first is 6 p.m. Tuesday at the American Indian Center, 1630 W. Wilson Ave. At this event, Eli Suzukovich, the program coordinator for Urban Ecology, will take attendees through native gardens and their effects on the environment.
Two more workshops are scheduled for July 23 and Aug. 20. Greening Your Garden is the theme of July's, while August is Gardening in the Public Way.

All three events feature local experts and are organized by Ward 47 Ald. Ameya Pawar's office.
