Chalkboard Chef Keeps Southern Vibe with New Homegrown Cafe
After a month of renovations, Chalkboard is open again as the new Homegrown Cafe. See what their menu has to offer.

The transformation is complete for one Lincoln Avenue restaurant trading escargot for eggs.
Chalkboard, at 4343 N. Lincoln Ave., was home to an ever-changing menu written on slate.
Chef and owner Gilbert Langlois remodeled his dinner restaurant for a breakfast and lunch space to spend more time with his wife and son. The new eatery is called Homegrown Cafe.
