Chicago Air and Water Show Zooms Over Shoreline
Daring parachuters and planes dazzled festival-goers at North Avenue Beach in Lincoln Park.

More than 1 million people had their eyes to the skies Saturday and Sunday at the Chicago Air and Water Show.
For the 55th year in a row, planes few over the shoreline of Lake Michigan and up to 600 miles an hour.
City officials estimate almost 1.7 million people attended the festival, despite the absent military headliners.
