Chicago’s First Olive Garden to Land on Addison
The chain has 10 locations in the Chicago suburbs, but now, the Italian chain is headed to the North Side.

The Italian restaurant chain Olive Garden announced Tuesday it plans to open its first Chicago location the North Side, Chicago Real Estate Daily reports.
Slated to open in the Kmart parking lot at 3535 W. Addison St., construction at the 7,700-square-foot restaurant will reportedly begin this summer, Crain’s writes. It’s estimated the buildout will cost $1.2 million.
Darden Concepts Inc.—Olive Garden’s parent company, who also owns restaurants like Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse—currently has 10 Olive Garden locations in the Chicago suburbs.

Representatives with Darden could not immediatly comment on the new store.
