Community Conversation: Aging in Ward 47
Local officials are calling on you, the residents, to join in a discussion this weekend about creating a community for all ages in and around the 47th ward.

Local officials are calling on residents this weekend to participate in what they call a "grassroots community-driven initiative" to address aging in the area.
The event, to begin at 10 a.m. Dec. 1 at Old Town School of Music, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., is tasked with discussing the creation of a community for all ages. Its details specifically mention those 50 years old and older who are interested in living their best years at home and creating an ideal community for the future.
"The event is open to businesses who value and support customers of every age, residents interested in volunteering locally, and neighborhood leaders looking for a challenge," according to 47th Ward Ald. Ameya Pawar's website.
