Film Crews Will Take Over Roscoe Village Thursday

The city issued "no parking" permits to a film crew that will be coming to the neighborhood on Thursday, officials said.

Film crews will be taking over Roscoe Village on Thursday, making several streets off limits to residents, officials announced Tuesday.

The city of Chicago has issued parking permits to a production crew whose task remained unclear Tuesday.

A representative from 32nd Ward Ald. Scott Waguespack's office said he wasn't sure what the filming was for but knew it wasn't the hit NBC show, Chicago Fire, which has been making its way around the North Side.

No parking zones will be in effect Thursday, April 11 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on the following streets:

  • Both sides of West Roscoe Street from Leavitt Street to Hamilton Avenue.
  • Both sides of Hamilton Avenue from Roscoe Street north 100 feet to the alley.
  • Both sides of Hamilton Avenue from Roscoe Street south 100 feet to the alley.
  • Both sides of Leavitt Street from Roscoe to School streets.
