Graffiti, Rodents: Most Requested Local Services
Find out how many city services requests were made in the neighborhood in 2012, and what topped the list.

Northcenter and Roscoe Village residents made more than four graffiti removal requests a day, according to city service data for 2012.
Graffiti removal, along with rodent baiting and tree trimming, were among the most-requested city services in the neighborhood.
More than 1,600 graffiti removal requests were submitted during the year, with most occurring on buildings and in alleys. Rodent baiting was the second requested service with 1,041 reports.

Patch used the available 311 Service Requests on the City of Chicago Data Portal, and found how many requests residents submitted in community area five, encompasing Northcenter and Roscoe Village. Duplicated claims were eliminated from the data.
Vacant buildings had the least amount of 311 submissions with 50 reports.

In total, local residents made 4,820 requests online or by phone to the city’s 311 system in 2012. That's almost 700 more requests than northern neighbor Lincoln Square
