Headliners Announced for Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival 2013
Chicago's first outdoor festival of the year is getting three different acts to spice up Memorial Day Weekend.
Chicago’s first outdoor street festival in the heart of the North Side will be kicked off by three hot headliners in 2013: Dot Dot Dot, The Trippin Billies and Wedding Banned.
They were among the bands who also played at last year's festival.Â
The 29th annual Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival, organized by Special Events Management, will be held May 25-26 from noon to 10 p.m. Sporting food, drinks and more, the event just steps from the Belmont CTA El stop will again feature some of the area’s top tribute bands.

The Trippin Billies is one of the nation’s most successful Dave Matthews tribute bands, playing around America for close to 20 years. In addition, Wedding Banned will play some of the top hits from the 80s and 90s.
Lastly, Chicago-based Dot Dot Dot will play, described as a union of rock elements with in dance beats and synthy frills.

About 30,000 people head to Lake View for the city’s first outdoor music festival, and last year’s event featured 10 performers. The remaining entertainment has yet to be announced.
The annual event will join other upcoming street festivals on the North Side like, Sausagefest, Roscoe Village Burger Fest, Oktoberfest and the newly announced Lincoln Avenue LIVE.
The Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival is sponsored by and benefits the Central Lakeview Merchants Association. A $5 donation is requested at the festival’s gates.Â
