Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro Voted Crowd Favorite for the Fifth Consecutive Year at Ribfest Chicago

CHICAGO - For the 5th consecutive year, Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro won the “People’s Choice” award at Ribfest Chicago. The coveted “People’s Choice” award is given to the restaurant the crowd voted on as the best ribs at the fair. Sixteen restaurants competed for the title at this year’s Ribfest.

 “We are honored to be recognized for the fifth year in a row as the ‘People’s Choice’ award winner,” said Beth Murphy, owner, Mrs. Murphy and Sons Irish Bistro. “We take great pride in this competition and for the food we serve at our restaurant each and every day. Ribfest Chicago is a 3 day weekend festival located on Lincoln Avenue between Irving Park Rd and Berteau. The festival is one of the most anticipated street festivals in Chicago, averaging more than 50,000 attendees each year. 

The Murphy family is also a staple in the City of Chicago owning and operating not only Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro but also Murphy’s Bleachers, one of Chicago’s most beloved bars, and the Murphy Rooftop Company. Beth Murphy operates the restaurant with sons James and Brian.
