New Pizzeria Strives for Best Deep Dish in the City

Bartoli's Pizza is scheduled to open in April near Addison and Damen Avenue.

Come April, Roscoe Village will get a new pizzeria, but the people behind the restaurant aren't new to the business.

Bartoli’s Pizzeria is set to open in the old Carreno’s Pizza location, 1955 W. Addison St.

One of the owners is Brian Tondryk, grandson of Fred Bartoli. Bartoli helped to create the famous 1960s pizzeria Gino’s East, Eater Chicago reports. The restaurant will be named after him.
