Owner Antoaneta Simeonov—or Mrs. Toni—says the site is under development, and she’s just waiting for the green light from city officials before moving forward in Roscoe Village.

“I don’t have a timeline for the opening yet,” Simeonov said. “We are still in the process with the permits and will take some time to comply with all of the requirements from the city and state.”

An employee at Children’s Creative Center said Simeonov has been considering opening the second location for years and plans to open the space later this year.

And according to business reviewing website Yelp, the location on Irving Park already has quite the reputation. Two evaluations on the website have the business snagging four out of five stars.

“Nothing but good things to say,” writes reviewer Martin S. “The staff, particularly Lauren and Norma, who look after our son are fantastic. They take great care of our child and go out of their way to give tons of information on what is going on and the communication of the whole place is fantastic.”

“We, stupidly, were put off by its busy location on Irving Park Road and the fact that it is quite a bit cheaper than other places we had looked at. It has a great outdoor area and the activities are well structured and our son has learned a ton. I wish, for them, they had a bit more space but the kids don't care I'm sure.”

Children’s Creative Center’s website says they serve children ages 2-to 6-years-old with specific and different programming based on age group.
