Police Foil Roscoe Village Daytime Break-in
Chicago police officers responded quickly Monday morning to a burglary at a home near the intersection of Western Avenue and Addison Street.

Chicago Police arrested three suspects Tuesday who they say forced their way into a Roscoe Village home that morning.
Michael Stephens, Jr., 31, of Waukegan; Tyrone L. Donald, Jr., 22, of the 5200 block of South Racine Avenue; and Cory A. Durr, 31, of the 6700 block of South Winchester; have been with two counts each of residential burglary.
The charges stem from police receiving a burglary in progress call around 11:10 a.m. Monday for the 3500 block of North Oakley Avenue, near the intersection of Addison Street and Western Avenue.

"The offenders promptly ran back into the residence with police in pursuit," police said. "Officers were able to gain entry and immediately placed two of the offenders into custody."
They searched the home and found the third suspect hiding under a piece of furniture, police said.
Further investigation led officers to one of the men's vehicles, where they reportedly found burglary proceeds from a separate incident.
Stephens, Donald, and Durr were scheduled to appear in bond court Tuesday.
