Sewer Work at Belmont, Ravenswood Starts Today
Starting today, Jan. 7, drivers may want to avoid a local intersection where construction will likely lead to traffic delays.
An upcoming construction project may cause local drivers to detour in the coming week.
The city's water department will be starting sewer work Monday at the intersection of Belmont and Ravenswood, according to an alert from 32nd Ward Ald. Scott Waguespack's office.
The construction will require a westbound street closure near that intersection.

The project should take about a week to finish, according to the alert. Traffic will be detoured via Lincoln Avenue, Addison Street and Western Avenue.
