Southport Burger Restaurant to Open Next Month

Burger Boss' Lake View restaurant — and the first Chicago location for the fast-casual restaurant — is set to open next month, according to an article by DNA Info. The restaurant will be located at 3208 N. Southport Ave., and will have an eco-friendly vibe with locally-sourced ingredients and vegetarian-friendly options. The owners told DNA Info that the restaurant was coming in November, although no firm date is set yet. 

“[Southport is] a great part of town. It’s still up-and-coming, and it’s still growing,” General Manager and partner Mike Bouse told Patch in April. “We really looked at a lot of real estate there and finally settled on this location. … I don’t know exactly when construction will start, but I’d really like to be open by October at the latest.”

Bouse said that the menu will be pretty similar to the restaurant's current store in Elmwood Park. The Elmwood Park menu is available here.
