Take Old Christmas Trees To Clark Park

If the holiday spirit — or sap — has left your house, the Chicago Park District will recycle your old tree at Clark Park in Northcenter.

The Christmas tree has done its job; all of the presents are gone and now it’s just shedding pine needles.

Instead of tossing your tree, the Chicago Park District will recycle it starting Jan. 5.  Take your tree to one of 23 sites, all at local parks.

Free mulch will be available starting Jan. 11, according to ABC Local.
