To Do: Tour Half Acre, Play Drinking Games, Head Down Damen
We'll give you a few ideas for changing up your weekend.

The weekend has a way of sneaking up on us sometimes. That's where we come in.
If you're looking for something to do, consider these Northcenter and Roscoe Village options. We'll throw a general North Side idea in, too, for good measure.
Half Acre Tour
Every Saturday at 11 a.m., you can tour the Half Acre Beer at 4257 N. Lincoln Ave. for just $10. There, you'll learn the ins and outs of the company, its history and the brewing process. Oh, and you'll be sipping samples, of course. The entry fee includes a take-home pint glass. Call 773-248-4038 or visit the Half Acre website for more information.
Interactive Drinking
Want an alternative to heading to the bar? How about heading to the theater? The Conservatory, 4210 N. Lincoln Ave., is hosting "The Variety Show: A Drinking Game Performance" kicks off Saturday, July 27 at 11 p.m. The $10 show blends "Corn’s signature sketch comedy, old-school variety show acts—magicians! dancing girls! an honest to god, straight from the side-show fire-eater!—and a drinking game worthy of your college days. Call 773-650-1331 for more info or buy tickets online.
Farmers Market
If you're looking for fresh produce, the Northcenter Farmers Market is the place to be. It continues this Saturday and runs each week through Oct. 26. Stop by 4100 N. Damen Ave., the Northcenter Town Square, between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Wicker Park Fest
Hop on the Damen Avenue bus if you're looking for a change of scenery. This weekend's Wicker Park Fest features more than 20 performers, a special kids' zone and local food and drink from some of the neighborhood's most renown restaurants.
