Vandals Slash, Puncture Tires on Dozens of Northcenter Cars
Police had not yet identified a suspect Wednesday night to about two dozen reports of vandalism in the Northcenter community surrounding a familiar L stop.

Around two dozen car owners who had parked in Northcenter overnight Tuesday woke up to immobilizing vandalism Wednesday morning.
The vandal, or vandals, slashed multiple tires on victims' cars, striking in and around the Addison Street Brown Line stop—many living in the 1800 block of West Patterson Avenue.

"I went to get into the one van to go, two flat tires," said Tim Humprey. "Used the spare van, found three flat tires on that one."
"My daughter's got one, and four cars of mine," said Al Martinez.

... While some called AAA for help, others joined together to aid those who were hit.
Police had not identified any suspects as of Wednesday night, according to the news report. There also was not yet an official total of vehicles that were targeted, though an ABC7 reporter counted 22.
