Veterans, Supporters Gather Today in Northcenter Town Square
In honor of veterans everywhere, the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special service this morning.

Those at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce want to say "thank you" to those who have valiantly served in our U.S. Military.
That's why they're continuing with their annual tradition this year of hosting a Sunday morning, Veterans Day ceremony to "honor the dedication, bravery and service of the men and women" who have, and are, defending our country. The service will kick off at 11 a.m. today at the Northcenter Town Square, 4100 N. Damen Ave.
Veterans Day services throughout the U.S. typically begin at 11 a.m. That start time is a nod to the 1918 end of WWI hostilities at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. The day was formerly known as "Armistice Day."
