1 Critically Injured In I-57 Shooting Sunday: Illinois State Police
A person was hit with gunfire from another unidentified vehicle, Illinois State police said.
MARKHAM, IL — One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting on I-57 near Markham late Sunday, according to reports.
Illinois State Police responded around 11:30 p.m. to a reported expressway shooting on I-57 northbound near 159th Street. A person was found shot inside a vehicle, state police said.
The person was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
