1 Injured After Vehicle Hits Building: Police

A driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after their car hit a building Monday afternoon, police said.

OAK FOREST, IL — One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle hit a building Monday afternoon, police told Patch.

According to Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid, a driver hit an unoccupied building near 157th Street and Cicero Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. Monday.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Reid said the incident only involved a single vehicle.
