1 Killed In Rollover Crash On I-57 South Tuesday: State Police

TINLEY PARK, IL — One person was killed Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-57 south at 167th Street, Illinois State Police said.

Troopers were called just before 11 a.m. May 7 to a single-vehicle crash at I-57 south and 167th Street near Tinley Park, state police said.

The driver of a car lost control before striking the right guard rail and rolling over, police said. The driver and sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver's identity was not immediately known.

All southbound lanes remained shut down as of 12:40 p.m. for a crash investigation.
