2 Armed Men Rob 7-Eleven: Police
According to police, 2 men have yet to be identified following the armed robbery Thursday night.
OAK FOREST, IL — Two suspects have not been identified following an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven Thursday night, police said.
According to reports, an employee of the convenience store at 14717 South Central Avenue was smoking a cigarette outside when she was approached by two men she did not know. The duo told her they wanted to buy something and followed her inside.
Then, the woman told police one of the men followed her around the counter and demanded all the money in the cash registers. Police said the pair pointed handguns at the employee while she emptied the register and also grabbed her cellphone and destroyed it.

The gunmen fled the store and the employee called police from a nearby gas station. The incident took place around 11:30 p.m.
The suspects are described as two men, both wearing hoodies and black face masks. Police said they may have been driving a black Dodge Charger with Illinois license plates.
