2 Charged With Attempted Murder In Oak Forest Shooting
An Oak Forest man and a Chicago man have been charged in the shooting last week in unincorporated Oak Forest near Camp Sullivan.

OAK FOREST, IL — An Oak Forest man and a Chicago man have been charged in connection with the shooting last week in unincorporated Oak Forest near Camp Sullivan.
According to detectives, Dashaun Colbert, 18, of Oak Forest, and Ha Zell Williams, 18, of Englewood in Chicago, have been charged with attempted murder of a 20-year-old Crestwood man who was shot July 1 at about 3:30 a.m. in the 14600 block of Justamere Road.

The shooting did not take place on Forest Preserves property, and the Crestwood man was not camping at Camp Sullivan, but he did seek help there after he was shot, authorities said. He was was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stable.

The bond for Colbert's bail was set at $50,000 last week. Williams is being held without bail.
The two are due back in court Monday.
