2 Found Fatally Shot Inside South Holland Home: Authorities

A 30-year-old woman and 83-year-old man were found dead inside the home Sunday. Their deaths have been ruled homicides.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL — A homicide investigation is underway after two people were found shot to death inside a South Holland home Sunday.

Police were called Sunday to the home in the 900 block of East 161st Street after a family member found their two family members dead, Village officials said. They have been identified as Ann Turner, 30, and James Boyd, 83. Both suffered multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner's office said, and their deaths have been ruled homicides.

"A homicide investigation is underway," Village officials said in a release Monday. "This is believed to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public."
