2 Injured In Oak Forest Shooting Wednesday Night: Police
Police said the pair were shot by a person in a dark-colored SUV at around 7 p.m. Wednesday night and checked into a local hospital.
OAK FOREST, IL — A shooting in Oak Forest Wednesday night ended in injuries after police said a person shot two people in a car at around 7 p.m.
According to officials, two people with gunshot wounds checked themselves into a local hospital at 7:03 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities said the pair were driving southbound near the 16800 block of Cicero Avenue when someone in a dark-colored SUV fired into their vehicle, striking both.
Multiple bullets were found in the pair's car and police told Patch they recovered several shell casings at the scene.

Police did not immediately respond to questions on if the shooting was related to a later shooting Wednesday night in the 15200 block of Las Robles Street where a home was shot into multiple times.
