CHICAGO (CBS) -- All lanes of northbound Interstate 57 were blocked on Tuesday morning after two people were killed in a crash.

Illinois State Police said a car was headed north on I-57 when it crashed near 147th Street shortly before 2 a.m.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another person later died at the hospital. A third person in the car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
