OAK FOREST, IL — The five candidates who ran for uncontested seats in Oak Forest's alderman and taxpayer advocate positions were voted into office Tuesday night.

Oak Forest residents headed to the polls to choose four alderman positions, two park district seats and a taxpayer advocate, who, among other duties, takes taxpayer complaints or helps homeowners through tax appeals.
