"We're very excited with the players we have coming back this year and to get our program started," says Malopsy. "There's just a lot of excitement in the building which makes us excited to get started."
When asked about what players fans can look forward to watching, senior player Parker Lewandowski listed off many. In the end, he stated, "we have a ton of talent. It's hard to list off the names."
A new head coach and new excitement are not the only things that have shaped the team for the upcoming season.
"We're more together this year," says Lewandowski. "I feel like in previous years everyone was kind of separated and doing their own thing. We're working together this year and I just love growing with our team. I feel like we're a family."
Bengal fans can cheer on the team at their first game this Saturday, August 28 at 1:00 pm at Westinghouse. The Bengal's first home game will take place next week on Friday, September 3 at 7:00 pm versus Sycamore.
